THE ICONIC

Delorean DMC-12

The DMC DeLorean was only made from 1981 to 1983. The car was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and engineered by LOTUS. It stood out for its gull-wing doors and brushed stainless-steel body.  It became iconic as the time machine in the Back to the Future media franchise of 1985.

Less than 8,000 are thought to remain.

The Real Delorean Story

There are many myths surrounding this iconic stainless steel car  only made from 1981 to 1983 in Ireland by John DeLorean. DeLorean was found innocent of drug charges. the “back to the future “ trilogy revived it. The car was actually engineered by Lotus. up to 8000 survive worldwide & the rear engine car is iconic
